^^^^ "jerks" ?

Fans need to cut these players some slack. Are they the best ever that have suited up for the Hogs? No, but they have worked hard to get into shape and have, for the most part, played hard for Pelphrey. They ARE learning a completely new system, one that puts a bigger spotlight than ever on their ball handling problems.

Yeah, it is bad that Ellis Johnson should leave right before national signing day. In Petrino's defense, he didn't leave the Falcons at a crucial time. In Johnson's defense, I would leave my current university if a good job opened up back home in Arkansas. I can understand that too. I also know that none of Ellis Johnson's defensives ever stopped the "offensive genius" that was coach Nutt. Haha. So chances are we might just find somebody better. My vote, Charlie Strong at Florida. Come home to Arkansas, Charlie!

Excellent piece by Jim Harris! Yes, I despair about this group of slacker/bricklayin/turnover jerks. But I do _not_ blame Pelphrey. He is trying everything he can to turn them around, and I have faith in him. But crikey. Billy Gillispie appears to have turned the corner with the Cats and we are headed the other direction. Slap these guys, Pel, slap them hard.

Hey, anyone else notice how much Gillispie resembles Carlos Mencia?
