Chancellor John White said Long had a previous relationship with Neinas at Pittsburgh. Neinas has been working with Long since the search began on Nov. 26." Note that last sentence. One of my grandsons played for him here in Springdale. And I think he was originally hired at Arkansas under less than straightforward intentions of allowing him to coordinate the offense. That said, I don't think he is the right man for the head coaching position at this time because of his inexperience in college ranks, and because the situation requires someone who can smooth the roiling waters, not increase the wind speed. I have confidence that AD Long is on the right track now with Neinas helping. Maybe everything to this point has been a smokescreen anyway. I hope it is resolved soon.
