Ater a year spent mostly in his dorm room playing guitar and writing songs, he dropped out, moved to Austin and in 1972 recorded his one and only ablum, the eponymous Willis Alan Ramsey, which included "Muskrat Candlelight", later covered by America and The Captain and Tenille.
